The tableware concept is an allegory for gender diversity. The table runner is made of printed organza and represents the broad spectrum of gender identities and their merging in terms of form and colour. Porcelain plates and bowls as well as a rotating plate also symbolise the concept of gender fluidity with their flowing transitions.
The emphasis on the centre of the table and the unassigned plates stand for self-determination and diversity, while the interplay of porcelain and textile celebrates the fluidity of gender identities.

Throughout the semester, ideas were developed, refined, and sometimes rejected, materials were tested, and concepts were honed. The process images offer a glimpse into the collaboration, the experimental interplay of textiles and ceramics and the journey toward the final designs.
